Real Madrid goalkeeper, Luca Zidane, could turn his back on France in favour of Algeria.
An U21 France international, Zidane also qualifies for Algeria though his famous father.
Currently on-loan with Racing Santander, Luca holds French and Spanish passports – and Algeria coach Djamel Belmadi has asked his federation to get the ball rolling about securing his status for the African nation.
Local newspaper Echorouk says there’s a confidence that Luca will quickly be awarded an Algerian passport should he accept an invitation from Belmadi to commit.
